In this privacy information, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within the framework of our website, our DayEvents/SunEvents smartphone app, and the Wear OS watchface.
Contact with us
If you contact us via email, the data you provide will be stored by us for six months for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
Data Processing within the Wear OS App (Watchface)
To provide the full functionality of our apps (specifically astronomical events, sunrise, sunset, and weather data), the processing of certain technical and location-based data is required.

Location Data (Background Location): To accurately calculate astronomical events for your current position and to continuously update weather and sun complications on your watchface, our app collects location data in the background (even when the app is closed or not in use). We do not create movement profiles.
- Third-Party Services (Open-Meteo): To provide local weather forecasts, your location coordinates are transmitted to the Open-Meteo API. No personal identification data (such as name or email) is shared. According to their policy, Open-Meteo temporarily stores IP addresses and coordinates solely for technical purposes (e.g., troubleshooting) and deletes them after a maximum of 90 days. Local Storage: Your individual design preferences (e.g., color themes, layouts) are stored locally on your device (in SharedPreferences) and are not transmitted to our servers.
Web Analysis and Cookies (Website)
Our website uses cookies and web analysis tools (such as Google Analytics and Hotjar) to improve user experience. Data is pseudonymized (IP masking), and your IP address is immediately truncated. Google is certified under the „EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF)“, ensuring compliance with European data protection standards. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.
Webshop and Registration
For the purpose of contract processing (purchases), we store data such as name, address, and email in accordance with GDPR and TKG 2021. Data is only transferred to third parties (banks/payment providers, transport companies, tax consultants) if necessary for contract fulfillment. In the event of a contract, data is stored for 7 years (tax law) or 10 years (product liability).
Newsletter and Marketing
You can subscribe to our newsletter via our website. You can cancel your subscription at any time by sending an email to office@3dpr.at. We also use Google Marketing Services and various Social Media Plugins. Providers based in the US are certified under the „EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF)“.
Social Media and Plugins
Our website integrates plugins from various social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Xing, LinkedIn, YouTube, Vimeo). When you visit a page with such a plugin, a connection to the providers‘ servers is established. Please refer to the respective providers‘ privacy policies for details on data collection.
Your Rights
You are generally entitled to the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, withdrawal, and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde).
